Since Chax wasn't made available to OS X Lion yet, we've been missing some of its features.

A few of them are available in iChat 6 (like the "Show all my accounts in one list" option) or with AppleScripts provided with it (like "Auto Accept.applescript").

This package makes available 2 of the most demanded features in Chax, missing in Lion's iChat, through AppleScript:

* Auto-Resizing Buddy Lists;
* Growl Notifications.

Both are easily localizable to any language: as an example there's a Portuguese version in the package too.

For AutoResize to work it needs to be assigned to both "Buddy Became Available" and "Buddy Became Unavailable" events, on the "Alerts" tab of iChat's preferences.

Help!!!
Any idea what I would be getting the following error?

An error occurred while executing an AppleScript event handler.
Event: Buddy Becomes Available
File: iChat AutoResize.scpt
Error: iChat got an error: Can’t get window "iChat Buddies".

Hi!

That means the script didn't find a window with that name.. Maybe you have your iChat localized in a language other than english? Are you showing all your accounts in one list or in separate lists?
